In the meantime I was wondering if you or anyone could review the message header below to see if there is any pertinent information. My gut says you are correct that this problem is somewhere with a filtering/spam process. Set very low but will try to completely eliminate it for a test. I will also investigate the spam/email security on the Exchange server.
FYI the text format is plain when sent through the Google Group. I will try uninstall Norton completely versus disable. I have seen somewhat similar posts from much earlier versions and not all steps offered were applicable to 2013. This exact sequence has now occured 6 times over the last two weeks (and I do mean the exact sequence). The problem can be reproduced and these emails can be reforwarded to others with the same results (message stripped). HOWEVER, when I access this email from my webmail (OWA) account, and I do the reply to the individual - there is STEPS TAKEN: I disabled my local anti-virus (Norton Internet Security 2012).
